Description

A geophysical survey (fluxgate gradiometer) and topographic survey was undertaken to the south of (and in the gardens of) East Hill House by Oxford Archaeotechnics in 2003. The magnetometer defined a number of weak anomalies which could include stone walling, or other structural remains, and possibly a track or street. Several possible pit forms, ranging between 2 and 5m in diameter, were also located.<1>
