Wire heard that a kiln (Kiln II), had been found in the brickyard near North Station ' An Amphora was found in the railway cutting east side of Mile End Road near the top of the hill alongside the road leading to the brick kilns...It has been stated to me that some years since a Roman pottery kiln was discovered near the brick kilns when excavating clay' <1> Hull puts this near his No 184. <2>
