Description
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken by ECC FAU in 2011-12 during the groundworks for a new dance studio (strip-foundation trenches, service runs and internal ground reduction) and new cover to an existing outdoor swimming pool (shallow trench c.1.6m wide), and also the construction of a new boiler room. With the exception of a few sherds of modern pottery and tile, no archaeological features or finds were recovered and the areas were shown to be heavily disturbed.<1>
