Description
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust in June 2017 during the removal of two tree stumps to the west of the Castle. No significant archaeological horizons were identified during monitoring and the tree stump removal only disturbed the modern layer of topsoil.<1>
