Description
A trial-trenched evaluation (five trenches totalling 66m long x 1.8m wide) was undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust in June 2017 on land (0.24ha in area) at Parsons Heath in advance of (pre planning application) the construction of a residential development with car parking and associated works. The evaluation uncovered modern wall foundations, part of a modern brick floor, and a single, shallow undated linear feature (F2) aligned N to S in T1.<1>
