Description
Archaeological recording was carried out at the lower bowling green in Lower Castle Park on two excavated trenches. Trenching totalling 68.1m in length, c.0.45-0.50m in width and 0.6m in depth was excavated through modern layers of topsoil and subsoil. No significant archaeological remains were uncovered.<1>
