Description
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken in October 2017 during the groundworks (foundation trenches c.1.20-1.50m wide x 1.20m deep) associated with the construction of a new residential development following the demolition of existing buildings (CBC planning application 130939). The investigation revealed modern made ground c.0.80-0.90m in depth over natural. No archaeological features or finds were defined.<1>
