Description
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken in November 2016 during the groundworks for side and rear extensions (CBC planning application 151752). All were excavated through modern topsoil (L1, c.250mm thick) onto a medium grey silty subsoil (L2, c.350mm thick) which sealed natural sands (L3). No archaeological remains were defined.<1>
