Description

Site I (75m²), was positioned on the western edge of Area A1 to investigate the E/W aligned Roman ditch found in 2010 T47, and to explore its connection with the Roman (Mersea) Road and with the N/S-aligned ditches on Site H to the north. Site I contained the Roman ditch and two undated natural features (which were probably tree-throw pits).<1>
