Description
Event number issued to Laura Pooley 14/7/16, in advance of fieldwork (CBC planning 121272). Trial-trenched evaluation relating to this development was undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust in 2011 (CAT report 627, Colchester Urban Archaeological Database no. ECC2994). Archaeological investigation of the area of features defined in Evaluation Trench 159 and finds concentration defined in fieldwalking square 48 is to be carried out prior to development, comprising a controlled strip and full excavation of archaeological features present in the area, measuring 50 x 50m (min.).
