Description

A field walking survey was undertaken by Colchester Archaeology Group in 2004, covering an area of c.11ha. Finds were collected up to 1m each side of each 20m grid line, giving a 10% sample of the area. Finds were recovered from the prehistoric to modern. The majority was medieval or post medieval, and there was also a large quantity of Roman tile and pottery.<1>
