Description
A structural survey was undertaken by Richard Shackle during the removal (by an architectural salvage firm) of an 18th century timber-framed building (with a 19th century kitchen) behind a new house called Rayners, Wick Lane, Langham.<1>
The cottage as originally built consisted of two rooms on the ground floor and two rooms above (accessed by a step ladder). The ground floor comprised a main living room with a brick fireplace, and a smaller inner room.
