Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust during the replacement of a fence around the tennis courts at St Helena School, Sheepen Road, Colchester. The 120 post-holes for the fence were dug under observation. No archaeological features were encountered. One piece of unstratified possible kiln/oven material was recovered from TP4/5.<1>
