Description
A watching brief was carried out by Colchester Archaeological Trust in March 2012 during the excavation of foundation trenches, drainage runs and a soakaway. Foundation trenches were excavated to a formation depth of 1.4m into natural geological horizon (L3). No archaeological features or material observed and there were no finds other than modern brick fragments in the topsoil L1 (not retained).<1>
