Description

In March 1938 the back entrance to the Omnibus Garage on Queen Street was made and a long trench for a drain was cut eastwards from Queen Street (Hull says this could still be traced by manhole covers in 1958). Metalling of a Roman Street was recorded together with a robbed out Roman wall and earlier remains from a daub building.<1>
