Description
A small evaluation was undertaken to investigate the location of a proposed external lift. Two 600mm-wide trenches were laid out; one (Trench 1) adjoining the west wall, and the other (Trench 2) next to the east wall of the existing building. A Roman tessellated pavement was recorded at a depth of 1.1m in T2. <1>
