Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the excavation of footings trenches for a rear extension (3.5 x 5m in area). Footings at 400mm below modern ground were not deep enough to penetrate modern topsoil cover. Modern brick and Fabric 48d pottery in topsoil (not retained). No archaeological features were recorded. <1>
