Description
A 6m-long trial-trenched evaluation was undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust in advance of the replacement of two temporary structures with a new hall and classroom block (CBC planning application F/COL/00/0254). No archaeological remains were exposed by the evaluation trench. The shallowness of cover over natural ground on this site may indicate that there has been some ground reduction or terracing. <1>
