Description
Groundworks involved the excavation of a small exploratory pit, measuring 4.70m x 2.40m, in order to located the existing watermain. Deposits exposed were those of the backfill of the existing watermain and natural geological deposits - a layer of topsoil 0.40m deep over the subsoil, 0.50m in depth.
