Description
The site was visited on three successive days during the installation of the metal railings around The Mount. Ground disturbance was minimal. The holes for the fence posts measured 300mm in diameter and 600mm deep, and in some cases the holes for the previous fence were reused. No finds were recovered from the spoil upcast from the holes and no significant archaeological deposits were observed.<1>
