Description

In September 1999, Hertfordshire Archaeological Trust carried out an archaeological evaluation at the Teardrop site, Turner Rise, Colchester in advance of proposed development. The natural was located directly beneath the modern overburden indicating that the site had been truncated. It was cut by service trenches and modern pits. No archaeological features or finds were revealed on the site.<1>
