Description
A single evaluation trench was excavated across the footprint of a new sports block building on the Colchester Royal Grammar School playing fields, 4m long x 1.8m wide. The trench was excavated to natural subsoil,0.6m in depth, but no archaeological remains or features were exposed. <1>
