Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out along a new Anglian Water sewer pipeline along Church Lane in Lexden, Colchester (the section along Spring Lane is reported separately; <2>). No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed by the groundworks, probably due to disturbance from the laying of the road and previous services. <1>
