Description
Observations were made during a watching brief at the Gosbecks Archaeological Park, Maldon Road, Colchester, on the excavation of a cable-trench which extended for 1500m (0.3m wide X 0.7m deep), from Butcher’s Wood along Maldon Road around the perimeter of the archaeological park through the Gosbecks View estate to the Shrub End sub-station. Two linear archaeological features were recorded during the watching brief which may represent ditches associated with trackways which crossed the area. <1>
