Description
A watching brief was carried out during a housing development on a large development site between Mill Road and Brinkley Grove (formally occupied by Myland Hospital). No archaeological features or finds were recorded (CBC planning application no COL/97/0220). The site consisted of 16 hectares of rough grassland, the majority of which was previously occupied by the hospital buildings. <1>
