Description
Collection of post-medieval brick and tile, approximately 20 fragments. Found as a result of the digging of holes to provide earth for fencing across Riverside path. Found at a depth of 1-3ft. Handmade brick and tile, difficult to date, but not obviously Roman. Possibly associated with a brick works known to have existed in this area (Everett's Brickworks). (Site visit by Philip Wise)
