Description
On 14th May Mr Henley of 42 Greenstead Road contacted the Museum regarding a feature he found in his back garden. Mr Henley's house is built around the remains of a barn with deeds dating to 1700. On inspection the feature turned out to be a brick soak away or well covered with a large stone slab. (Field visit by David Radford).
