Description
An evaluation was undertaken at the Colchester Institute in August 2000 in advance of a new extension being built (CBC planning application F/COL/00/0692). Two 10m-long x 1.5m wide trenches were excavated, and defined pits and deposits of the Late Iron Age - Early Roman period c.AD 5-60.<1>
