Description

A trench cut down Trinity Street, 5ft from the east kerb revealed three parallel walls, the first lying 26ft south of the north building line of Culver Street, the second 31ft, and the third 40ft. They were 2ft thick. The first was exposed again in another excavation against the west kerb. It was 2ft thick and 4ft from the surface. Its top two courses were of tile, no floors were found, the small finds are in the Museum. <1><2>
