Description
A single 150mm borehole was drilled using the light-cable percussion method. According to the contractors the borehole revealed topsoil overlying a glacial deposit of fine gravel and sandy clay which was underlain by the London clay at a depth of approximately 4 metres. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.<1>
