Description
Two boreholes were drilled on the proposed site of the St Mary' Car park, Balkerne Lane. The borehole records indicated 1.4 metres to 1.5 metres of made ground consisting mainly of sand and some brick rubble, overlying sand and gravel. Both boreholes were free of groundwater. <1>
