Description
Four trial holes were excavated by mechanical digger on a former allotment site situated at the junction of St Andrews Avenue and Harwich Road. A wide variety of material was found across the site with topsoil and silt found to a depth of approximately 1 metre in each hole with sand or clay beneath. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.<1>
