Description
A trial trench, aligned E to W 18m x 1.65m in size, was excavated on land adjoining the site of a medieval hospital (St Mary Magdalen's, MCC9030) at Brook Street as part of stage two of the evaluation of the Eastern Approaches Road. The trench revealed three post-medieval pits and one pit of uncertain date.<1>
