Description
A watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an extension to 28 Fitzwalter Road. Typically from modern ground level there was 35cm of medium grey/brown silty topsoil over 55 cm of pale orange/brown sandy or silty gravel. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed. <1>
