Description
A watching brief was undertaken during the redevelopment of 155 Magdalen Street for housing. In the footing trenches an infilled cellar, full of loose bricks was observed, the front of this (i.e. south edge) lined up with the rear edge of the adjacent property. In the two wall trenches to the west a post medieval ditch was recorded. Several sketches were made to record soil profiles on the site. <1>
