Description
A watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a residential development at the rear of 1 St Helena Road. This was a residential development on the back land between St Helena Road and Constantine Road. In the western part of the site Block 1 foundations were dug and concreted without notification or inspection. To the east, Block 2 wall foundations were partially open for inspection but no significant features were discernable. The overall stratigraphy was noted and photographed.<1>
