Description
A watching brief was undertaken at the St Benedict's School playing field during small scale groundworks for a new hall. Area stripping of only 20cm of topsoil and 0.5m wide 1m deep strip trenches for foundations. Two intrusions were noted in trenches for the north-western part of the building. Both were of intermediate profile and could not be positively associated with the Heath Farm Dyke.<1>
