Description

Flat cremation graves of Iron Age date found behind the rectory in Lexden village.<1> This record is suspect as the address given in the Museum Report cited by Hawkes and Hull is that of Lexden Grange, yet they imply Lexden Grange and Lexden Rectory are separate plots (as indeed they appear to be as no re-numbering is known of). Unless this can be resolved this record cannot be plotted.<2>
