Description
During a watching brief at the rear of No. 4 Roman Road observations were made of the Roman town wall.<1>
At the request of the owner, Colchester Archaeological Trust inspected part of the Town Wall uncovered during the digging of a small hole in the garden. The wall proved to be part of a tile course forming the rear face of the Roman town wall.<1>
