Watching brief held during the construction of a Borough Council housing development, 'Frank Clater Close'. The site was visited in poor weather conditions when the ground was very wet and muddy . No obvious features were visible although it was "difficult to distinguish anything through puddles, smears and large amounts of gravel put down to consolidate the surface". The site had been cleared of topsoil exposing a mid brown, slightly clayey loam. Nothing of interest could be seen on the spoil heap.<1>
