Wire notes' Mr. Man, bricklayer informs me that he has discovered a red tessellated pavement of large size, but much broken, at the back of Mr.Stirling Maclean's, North Hill.' <1> The identification of this house as No 45 North Hill is taken from Wheeler and Laver; the approximate position is also given on the plan in Wire's 'County Illustrations.' <2>
