Description
A watching brief was held during the construction of new houses on Crowhurst Road. Unfortunately only three 1.6 x 1.3m foundations trenches remained open along the frontage at the time of the visit. Two other trenches had recently been concreted to within 0.5m of the surface. The area was found to be heavily pitted and the open trenches contained pits up to 2m in depth.<1>
