Description
Some years previous to 1913 some adjacent fields were added to Lexden Park, and according to Henry Laver 'In these fields... were several Tumuli before the ground was finally levelled, planted and sown with grass'. A number of earthen vessels and other relics were found, all of which were considered to be Roman.<1><2>
