Description

A watching brief was held at Victoria Chambers, St Runwald Street. Negative evidence.<1> The CAT "x Series" miscellaneous finds record contains an entry , X298, which states "bone (dog skull). The spot is described as "From hole adjacent to Victoria Chambers (St Runwald Street) at a depth of 17ft 6". Reported by D. Gamble April 1984". No further details are available. Nr Gamble at that time was a member of the Borough Engineer's Department.<2>
