Description
A watching brief was held during the construction of a single storey extension to offices at 11 Queen Street. The foundation trenches, all at least 2m deep, cut dark topsoil which was presumably a combination of an accumulation of topsoil and ?post-medieval pits. The only feature noted was a post-medieval soak away or cellar at the east end of the site.<1>
