Description
A watching brief was held during the construction of an extension and alterations to No 6 George Street. "According to the workmen, the site was visited by a member of staff from the museum during the digging of the foundations. This person (unknown) apparently agreed with the builders that nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered".<1>
