Description
Two cremations and several inhumation burials at the front of 'Silver Birches' house, Lexden Road (now demolished).<1><2> In August 1896 it became desirable to enlarge the House No 3 Lexden Road and in the excavations for the basement were found nine Roman burials.<3>
