Description

Discovery of Roman bronze bust in 1845 (according to Hull definitely in a side-dike north of the railway embankment and some distance west from the Dilbridge cutting). The Ordnance Survey records the site as TM009262 but Hull believes this to be wrong and prefers Wires location (as above).<2>
