Description

Skeleton with jet bracelet found under Lexden Road in 1930.<1> When a water main trench reached a point opposite Oxford Road, a human skeleton was found, wearing a fine jet bracelet on one arm. Only part of the body could be removed, as the skull lay under the telephone cable.<2>
