Description
In 1968 Rosalind Dunnett observed a tessellated floor, under new Youth House (west end) covering the south end of the site extending from within 6ft of the present pavement, back for some 20ft towards the west. No trace of the road was found but the workmen excluded archaeologists from the site. <1>
